Appreciate Everyone

Wrapping up student teaching this upcoming week, has made me start to think of everyone that has helped me out along the way. Without those people that help us along, support us and encourage us to be the best version of ourselves, we would never achieve what we are fully capable of.

Starting off with my cooperating teacher Mrs. McKelvey, I could not have asked for a better mentor to spend these last 15 weeks with. She showed me how to be the best teacher version of myself. She allowed me to make those mistakes in the classroom and then worked with me on how to get better. All while we were having a blast. I am happy to have been with someone that understands where I come from, where I am and where I want to be. West Side Forever.

To the Penn State Faculty and Staff, I could not have chosen a better major and have asked for a more well rounded group of professionals to guide me and work with me through this process. It is because of people like you that make the difference in young educator's lives. You have invested a lot in my cohort mates and I. It was truly an honor to be apart of your program.

My cohort members, thank you all for being one of the most cohesive cohorts that I could have asked for. Without you all I would not have been able to be as successful as I could have been.

To the Brothers and Sisters of Delta Theta Sigma, thank you for being my family. You all took me in and made me one of your own. My college experience has been the best time of my life thanks to all of you and I will always love you guys.

My Wilmington Students, you all are a crazy group. Thank you for allowing me to invade your lives and classroom. I hope that you feel like we had fun, learned some stuff and grew together over the past 15 weeks. You all are going to move on and do amazing things in this world. I believe in each and every one of you that you will make an impact in whatever you do.

Wilmington School District, thank you for allowing me the opportunity to come and grow as an educator. You have a really fantastic teacher running your Ag Education program and very passionate students. Also, thank you for the Easter Candy!

Most importantly to my family and loved ones for all of your continued support of my college career!
