Why do we do what we do?

Dr. Paul Theriot was a teacher from Louisiana that I had the pleasure of talking with while I was there. He said that he had came to NAAE this year because it was close to home and he had a student teacher that was going through the FAST program there. He believes that the best take away from NAAE is the networking that you get to experience while you are at a conference like this.

David Ruvarac is a teacher from PA that taught at WB Saul in Philadelphia. He was injured in an accident at the school. He still attends NAAE because he hopes to get back in the classroom one day and does not want to miss out on the professional development that can be so helpful to us all. Even though he is not currently in a classroom, he is still active in the professional organizations because he sees the benefit in them.

Kayla Pohle was extremely helpful to talk with. She attends NAAE for the professional development credits and to be with her friends in the profession. She is an awesome instructor and I am really happy for Lacey to be able to learn from her. I was able to get some resources from Kayla and have good conversation with her about what to expect going into student teaching.
