Oh, The Places You'll Go!
I have always seemed to fit in wherever I have ended up in life, but this is a new kind of challenge. I know that wherever I go, I want to have something different from what I was used to at Mohawk FFA. For most of my career in Mohawk FFA, I was in a two-teacher program that was very heavy on agricultural mechanics, welding, masonry, and small gas engines. I really found a passion in those classes which has led me to the point in my life that I am in today. While I grew up on a beef and crop farm, I was never really interested in taking animal science or plant science classes in high school. What I am looking for in a cooperating center is a place that will educate me on how to teach subjects that I have never experienced in a high school setting before. I would love to go to a single teacher program, to see how one person can do the work that I was used to watching two individuals do.
